⁹ That is why I’m going to open up the cities that protect Moab’s borders. They are the beautiful cities of Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kiriathaim. ¹⁰ I will hand the Moabites and the Ammonites over to the people in the east. So the Ammonites will no longer be remembered among the nations. ¹¹ I will punish Moab. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
